The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 V3 is a 4-socket server that is densely packed into a 2U rack design. The server offers technology advances, including 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, 4800 MHz DDR5 memory, and PCIe Gen 5.
Up to 24x 2.5-inch drives can be installed on this server as well as 2x 7mm or NVMe drives for fast access storage or OS installation. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 V3 Server is housed in a 2U chassis with support for 2x or 4x 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Each socket supports 16x DDR5 DIMM slots. When fully configured with 4x CPUs, the maximum memory capacity on this system is up to 16TB. Expanding the capabilities of the Lenovo SR850 V3 server is achieved with up to 12x PCIe expansion slots found on the rear of the system.
The SR850 V3 can scale from two to four 4 th Gen Intel ® Xeon ® Scalable processor family CPUs and up to two enterprise-grade GPUs. It also supports 33% more* direct connections, with Gen4 and Gen5 ready NVMe drives, and plety of storage expansion options.
